We received over 200 applications from you all, so it’s taking us a little longer than we’d hoped to review them, but we will be inviting successful applicants to interview by 23rd January.
If you haven’t heard from us by this date, unfortunately you haven’t been successful this time. We regret we are unable to give individual feedback but please keep an eye out here for announcements for the next round and other training opportunities from our partners and friends in the industry.

✨ We’re delighted and grateful that filmmakers Zara Trott (Mark’s Gift 2023) and Jake Bentley (Mark’s Gift 2020) represented the Foundation on a panel at Norwich Film Festival 2025 🙌 They advised students on ways of entering the film and TV industry - reflecting a key part of our mission!
Zara said:
“It was great being a part of the Norwich Film Festival panel on Getting into Film with The Mark Milsome Foundation. We discussed with students entry roles into the industry, where to find opportunities, and tips for your first time on a film set. It was great to see all the aspiring talent that will be enjoying the industry.”
